AHLAN WA SAHLAN!
Welcome to the St. Elias Orthodox Church Mid-East Festival!
Celebrate 48 Years of Middle Eastern Culture in Atlanta!
For 48 years, the Mid-East Festival has been a beloved tradition, bringing the rich sights, sounds, and spirit of the Levant to the heart of Atlanta. From a small family gathering, it has blossomed into one of the city's most cherished cultural celebrations—a festival rooted in tradition, built on community, and overflowing with joy.
Our tables are piled high with delicious, homemade food, made from generations of family recipes. The festival also offers a meaningful opportunity to learn about the Orthodox Christian faith, which has been a cornerstone of Levantine communities for centuries. The Antiochian Orthodox Church plays a vital role in preserving our spiritual heritage, and we invite all attendees to experience the beauty of Orthodox worship through Vespers and Liturgical Services, as well as church tours and special displays.
Bring the kids to enjoy the Kids’ Corner, filled with bounce houses, face painting, cotton candy, and much more. It’s a fun-filled day for the whole family! Come taste the food, explore a vibrant culture, and deepen your understanding of the Orthodox faith at a celebration brought to life by community and faith.
