Welcome to the St. Elias Orthodox Christian Middle Eastern Festival!

Celebrating Culture, Faith, and Community

For 47 years, the St. Elias Mid-East Festival has been a vibrant cornerstone of our community, bringing together friends, families, and neighbors to celebrate the rich tapestry of Middle Eastern culture and the enduring spirit of our Orthodox Christian faith. What began as a heartfelt gathering has blossomed into one of the most anticipated events of the year, a testament to our shared heritage and the warmth of our hospitality.

A Journey Through the Middle East

Our festival is a lively exploration of the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Middle East. Immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of traditional cuisine, from savory delights like falafel and kibbe to sweet pastries such as baklawa, all prepared with love by our church family. We will also have a vendor showcasing beautiful Arabic calligraphy, offering a chance to appreciate this timeless art form. Additionally, enjoy authentic Arabic stretchy ice cream from WowBooza and savor rich Arabic coffee, enhancing your cultural experience.

Rooted in Faith and Community

At the heart of our festival is the spirit of St. Elias Orthodox Church. We are a welcoming parish dedicated to upholding the traditions of Orthodox Christianity and fostering a strong, supportive community. The festival serves as a beautiful extension of our mission, allowing us to share our faith, culture, and fellowship with a wider audience. We invite you to take a guided tour of our sacred sanctuary, learn about the profound beauty of Orthodox iconography and architecture, and discover the spiritual richness of our ancient faith.

More Than Just a Festival

The St. Elias Mid-East Festival is more than just an event; it's a celebration of unity, tradition, and generosity. It's a place where memories are made, friendships are forged, and cultural understanding flourishes. The proceeds from our festival directly support the ministries and outreach programs of St. Elias Orthodox Church, enabling us to continue serving our community and sharing the blessings of our faith.

We warmly invite you to join us for a joyful and unforgettable experience. Come, celebrate with us!

Our Faith: The Antiochian Orthodox Church in North America

St. Elias is a parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Our roots trace back to the ancient Christian community of Antioch, where followers of Christ were first called "Christians." Today, the Antiochian Orthodox Church continues the unbroken apostolic tradition, preserving the fullness of the Christian faith as passed down through the centuries. We are part of the larger family of Orthodox Churches worldwide, united by common doctrine, sacraments, and worship.

In North America, our Archdiocese serves a diverse community, offering spiritual guidance, vibrant liturgical life, and a commitment to evangelical outreach, striving to make the ancient faith accessible and relevant in the modern world. We emphasize the beauty of worship, the depth of spiritual disciplines, and the importance of community and service.
